Enlist your agents.

mai is the terminal and IDE that turns a pile of AI coding agents into a disciplined fleet. Every agent a persistent session. Every order a real command. Fall in.

Basic training: two weeks free, no card.

Recruitment poster: a robot drill sergeant with a terminal-screen face points straight at you.
I want your agents.

Form 1-MAI · Sheet 1 of 4

Chain of command

Every recruit in mai holds one of three ranks. All of them work. None of them sleep.

  1. Private Agent

One session, one tab, one job. A coding agent on any model, running in its own persistent session — it holds its post through crashes, closed laptops and reboots.

    Duty: mai session

  2. Corporal Reviewer

Inspects every diff before it reaches the line. mai review puts a second set of eyes on the work — and those eyes do not blink.

    Duty: mai review

  3. Queen of the Hive

Commands the swarm. The Hive splits the mission, hands each bee its own git worktree, and builds, reviews and ships in parallel.

    Duty: the Hive

One terminal.
A whole army.

Drop and give me twenty agents, recruit. In parallel.

Standing orders

Memorise these, maggot. They are not jokes. They are features.

  1. I

You do not die on reboot.

Every session is persistent. Close the window, kill the app, restart the box — your agent is still at its post, mid-sentence, when you get back.

  2. II

Every action is an order anyone can give.

Every move in mai is a CLI verb, an MCP tool and an API call. You can command the fleet. So can the fleet.

  3. III

    Report every token.

A local proxy shows every token each agent spends. Nobody goes AWOL with your budget.

  4. IV

    Hold your own trench.

Hive bees work in their own git worktrees. No agent steps on another agent’s diff.

  5. V

    Serve on every front.

Desktop, web and mobile — the same sessions, wherever the commander happens to be.

  6. VI

    Any model may enlist.

mai is model-agnostic. We do not care where you were trained, recruit. We care that you ship.
